In 2014 NLA media access revenues represented the equivalent of 1300 jobs in journalism. Since its creation the NLA supported Journalism Diversity Fund has provided bursaries to over 157 aspiring journalists and in 2014 supported students from diverse backgrounds to train as journalists.
