Our Journey to Malia: IN THE GARDEN
http://ourjourneytomalia.blogspot.com/2010/07/in-garden.html
Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Disclaimer: In light of the fact that Malia has a new favorite dress, I thought it necessary (for my sake) to let you know that yes, this dress was worn by Malia two days ago. However, it has been washed and once she saw it hanging up she asked to wear her "pretty dress" again today. In front of the beautiful waterfall. In the maze (we found the statue in the middle! Above the waterfall, cheering for a great evening. Resting and taking in a little more before heading home. Fly to ...

Our Journey to Malia: NATURE TRIP!
http://ourjourneytomalia.blogspot.com/2010/07/nature-trip.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Rick and I were in the mood to get out, so we stole away with Malia to a nearby reservoir. Malia loves the water, so she was thrilled to get her feet wet while Daddy skipped some rocks. We did a little hiking . And found a cool tree. Rick couldn't resist climbing it. Don't worry, Daddy! I'll catch you if you fall! And Malia wanted in on it. She begged to go "up with Daddy.". With a little help from Mommy, she was able to reach Daddy's hand to lift her up. Time to head back now.

Our Journey to Malia
http://ourjourneytomalia.blogspot.com/2010/07/trying-to-take-advantage-of-these.html
Thursday, July 29, 2010. Trying to take advantage of these pleasant summer days, we headed to a park to play with Luke again today. Only today the older kids came, too. Spencer and Malia waiting for Luke and everyone else to arrive. Round and round on the merry-go-round. As you can tell by the expression on Cassidy's face, Malia was done riding for the moment and started to get off while the ride was still in motion. When she's done, she's done! Malia and Mommy before heading home. Love all of you. Maile...

Wednesday, June 30, 2010. These are not items inlcuded in the buffet and appeared to be one of his own treats that he was willing to share with us. What a surprise and blessing! We thought it was so neat to see both Chinese and American writing on the bag. They made Malia VERY happy! Saturday, June 26, 2010. SUMMER THEATER 2010 - OLIVER! Spencer's character had a love interest in this play - something very different for Spence. But, he did great! We even got to watch him do some dancing! I tell ya, this ...

Our Journey to Malia: December 2009
http://ourjourneytomalia.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 31, 2009. OUR 9-FOOT 2-INCH SNOWMAN. Rick had a brilliant idea today. He wanted to go outside and build an eight-foot snowman. So we all bundled up and headed outside for a little fun in the snow. Here is Malia ready to get the party started! See how the snow packs! Here she is helping Daddy roll the second level of the snowman. How many levels did our snowman have? I must admit I grew a little concerned when Rick broke out the rickety wooden ladder! Way to go, team! I love this pictur...

Our Journey to Malia: May 2010
http://ourjourneytomalia.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 29, 2010. We headed to Illinois for our annual family reunion and had tons of fun, as usual. Here are Spencer and Malia ready for all the action! She gradually got a little braver and moved in closer to the action. See, playing in this water is a lot of fun! And the water toys are fun to play with. Here are my parent's wondering if they bought enough tickets. And then there's Uncle Stan . he's been doing this far too long! And, this is why I now call her my mud princess. Nice job, Spencer!

Sunday, February 14, 2010. Saturday, February 13, 2010. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! 2010: YEAR OF THE TIGER. We had a fun time celebrating Chinese New Year with some special friends tonight. This year's gathering was twice as big as last year's, and that was with a couple families not able to attend! Spencer had other plans tonight, so he wasn't with us for our family picture and was definitely missed! The girls also loved getting a red balloon, which also doubled as part of the table decorations. And all th...
