The Wars Of the Worlds. Tuesday, 17 July 2012. Spielberg Tripod - what to do? Goes without saying i'm a MASSIVE fan of War Of The Worlds so, really, i should've snapped up this kit long ago. But was kinda skint when it was available for pre-order and certainly can't afford it now. But i got a lot of dosh for my birthday, so thought i'd splash out. The Wars Of the Worlds. Thursday, 16 September 2010. What colour a Pal Martian? So, the problem of studio lighting strikes again. Watching the very brief scenes the fellas in, its hard to make out just what colours are going on there. All you've got really is the glimpse Anne sees as she spies him outside - which appears to be VERY salmon pink in the harsh lighting - and this when he's indoors. So, am going that route and here he is in Games Workshops "Dwarf Flesh" for the salmon basis.

A fans musing on the characters and titles from British boy's comics 1968-1978. Wednesday, 1 April 2015. Slightly out of the remit for this here Blog but please indulge me. It was a case of love at first sight when this appeared in 2000AD - big first panel kicking off some joyous imagination and bampot notions taking me right back to the early days of the Prog, Action, and a whole slew of early 70's titles when an ordinary, real life thing or situation is given a fantasy/SF angle.
