North to Alaska - 2005. We left San Antonio on April 29, 2005, and returned home in September. Our first stop was El Paso. Our 2nd stop on April 30, was Prince of Tucson RV Park on the northwest side. It was right on IH 10, but surprisingly quiet and very clean. Palm Springs, CA. May 1st - 4th. North to Alaska - 2005. Long Beach, WA. On May 19 th. We visited the North Head and Deception Point Lighthouses. Lewis and Clark Visitor center taken from Cape Disappointment. These waves are monitored with cameras from the Northhead. Lighthouse. They are doing research to rebuild a sea wall. Another visitor was kind enough to take our picture at the top of the lighthouse. On the 15 th. Of May we moved to Long Beach, Wa. From there we visited the Northhead.

Today, Mikki had knee surgery to repair her displaced knee cap and torn ligaments. A week ago, she was jumping as usual and must have landed wrong. Soon it will be time to leave for Ruidoso, to be there may 15th. Larry did get the last section of fence built and it looks great – especially the double gate. He designed and built the metal bracket (that is hidden in the finished product) to slide back and forth a little so it won’t be out in the room quite so much.

We attended the Cowboy Symposium at Ruidoso Downs today. Lots of western items for sale. We enjoyed watching the chuck wagon kitchens preparing lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day with lots of wind. Chiar dacă proiectul nostru , Viitorul speranţei , participant în campania Ţara lui Andrei nu a adunat suficiente voturi pentru a primi finanţare, ne bucurăm că obiectivele propuse au fost atinse ( amplasarea containerelor pentru colectarea selectivă a deşeurilor în cartierele Tg.Mureşului, şi realizarea centrelor de închiriere a bicicletelor ).
