The ticket prices remain the same this year! There will again be a cash back of 1-00 if you are a holder of a current Folk Club Membership Card. This will be refunded on collection of your ticket. This reflects my feeling that the Folk Clubs are the backbone of our hobby. Without the Folk Club network the festival scene would not have developed as it has, to offer todays rich choice. Day and evening tickets will be available and will provide entrance to all events.

The weekend kicks off on. Nelly Deans Bar is open. A chance to renew friendships with a chat and a few beers. Then into the Cottage for. First Stirrings of Spring. A sing say and play session to celebrate the start of a new festival season. Evening Sessions and Folk Club. In the Cottage and Nelly Deans Lounge. Following on from last year with a frew more tips to achieve a more polished performance. Was popular last year so Jillie, Anna and Helen will be back with a simple introduction to this craft.

As Miskin grows, not just in size but in complexity, we need more help make the weekend run smoothly. We start setting up the site Thursday and clear up Monday morning. Ideally I would like a small band of keen volunteers to help from Thursdsay morning onwards. There is a lot of moving lifting and general sorting. Including building THE BAR! Experienced Bar staff are also needed of course and hopefully this would be the only duty.
