All This and a Bag of Knits: March 2009
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 29, 2009. FO: Central Park Hoodie. So I finally sewed this sucker together, and then didn't get any photo's until today. I've worn it quite a bit in these last two weeks, the weather has been perfect for a cozy wool hoodie. The hood is a little pointy, but honestly, I probably will never wear it up anyways. I do love how the cable runs all the way around it though. Nice feature. The cable running down the sleeve is another beautiful feature. It just makes the sweater, I think. Verdict: I lo...

http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 16, 2008. I'm very pleased with my most recent FO. I took part in the Mystery Beret KAL on Ravelry put on by Woolly Wormhead. If you haven't checked our her hat patterns before, you really should, they are fantastic! Pattern: Meret (Mystery Beret). Needles: US 8/5.0mm. Yarn: Dream in Color Classy in the Gothic Rose colorway. Mods: I added an extra repeat in Clue 2 to give it extra slouch! I think this picture gives the truest color. Friday, November 7, 2008. All This and a Bag of Knits: October 2008
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. Attack of the Geckos! I'm not very good at crochet. I find it frustrating and a little painful, yet I managed to whip off five of these cute little gecko bookmarks this week. This has not been the only fundraiser, it is one of many, and it is only October. At this rate I will need to quit my full-time job just to be able to take part in all of the fundraising! Anyhoo.enough of my grumbling.look at the pretty gecko! Ooohhhh, another one! By Lion Brand Yarn. I love my new hat.

All This and a Bag of Knits: September 2009
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 26, 2009. May I introduce to you.for the first time.playing whatever position he wants.number 96.Owen Michael Sheridan! Yes, that's right, my wee little guy is now a hockey player. His favorite piece of equipment is the cup/jock strap (why am I not surprised.), and he walks around wacking it with his stick, marveling how it doesn't hurt when he does so. I'm surprised he can even skate with all of that gear on. It's really heavy! We have started a new school this year, that has been qu...

All This and a Bag of Knits: May 2009
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 18, 2009. The Mother's Day Tea was awesome! But, it was too late to make something else, so I brought them anyways, warning Owen to stay away from that particular plate of goodies. Fortunately when I got to the school I was one of the first ones there and was able to slip the plate onto the food table without anyone noticing. No one knew that I brought them! While Maeghan drew with chalk with the twins. Anyways, Jane is coming along, I love how she is turning out, and can't wait to be done!

All This and a Bag of Knits: Time for Change
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2009/11/time-for-change.html
Tuesday, November 10, 2009. I really felt like I needed a change with my blog. When it was first created a few years ago it's focus was supposed to be all knitting, all the time. But as time and life have progressed there are things that I want to talk about and share that really aren't knitting related, I am interested in other things too you know! So I have decided to change the title of the blog to reflect that there is more to me, and going to be more to this blog than just my fantastic knitting!

All This and a Bag of Knits: April 2009
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 13, 2009. The kids woke up to an Easter egg hunt on Sunday morning. Then proceeded to eat so much candy that they were bouncing off the walls for a couple of hours, followed by a big cranky crash. You gotta love Easter. We decorated Tye Dyed eggs this year. Not sure if they look technically tye dyed or not, but they sure are funky! Yes Oma, I believe Owen may need an apron of his own soon! I really need to work on Jane.or get a root canal.either would be preferable. Ravelry - I'm ChickKnits!

All This and a Bag of Knits: A Garden!
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2009/10/garden.html
Saturday, October 17, 2009. My man is building me a garden! How lucky am I? And how industrious is he? Aidan also built these steps leading down into the backyard. Such an improvement over the muddy slope that used to be there! In the meantime, we will have to deal with these leaves. They are ginormous. Each leaf is the size of my head. This is the part where we get the kids rakes for presents and enslave them into a life of eternal raking. I think we are going to need another "Yard Trimmings" bin.

All This and a Bag of Knits: December 2008
http://bagofknits.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2008. Finally I get to post about some Christmas presents I have knit but haven't been able to show you! This first one I knit way back in August. It was a gift for my mother-in-law, Moira, and I LOVE how it turned out! Yarn: Noro Kureyon color 226. Needles: KP Options US 7/4.5mm. Next up is the Irish Hiking Scarf that I knit for my Father-in-law, Danny. He is allergic to wool, so I found a nice, soft cotton blend to use instead. Pattern: Irish Hiking Scarf. Needles: US 8/5.0mm.
