Tgm: we care about typography! The Typographische Gesellschaft München e.V. GRANSHAN: IDEA and HISTORY. In 2008 the Armenian Ministry of Culture founded the GRANSHAN Font Competition. When the tgm visited Armenia in 2009 a new corporation was born: since 2010 both institutions organize the font contest successfully together. Every year the winning entries of the competition are documented and international presented in an exhibition (e.g. in Alexandria, Moscow, Munich, St. Petersburg).

KOCHAN and PARTNER GmbH. Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. As the founder of the GRANSHAN typeface competition, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia has a genuine interest in promoting Non-Latin Typefaces. During the tgm’s visit to Armenia in 2009 this shared interest led to the founding of a collaborative project. Since 2010, the competition of typefaces has been administered successfully by both parties.
