Room 19's blog 2016. Thursday, 30 June 2016. In Art Week we made up stories about turtles, dolphins and stingrays and retold them in our shadow puppet theatre with plenty of action. We made bubbly paint with dye and dishwash liquid, and printed it on paper. We have used some of the bubbles to decorate our collage fish art work. Sunday, 12 June 2016. Room 19's blog 2016. We read the article, How to Make a Rocking Horse Card. And then we followed the instructions to make one for someone special in our family. We read the book, Pens and Pencils. We read the book, The Impossible Bridge. After we had studied all the different bridge designs, we made our own out of paper. We made a mobilo vehicle to test its strength. We painted the road. We read the book, Race to the Finish. And then we made a race track in Room 19 just like the real one in the book.

We worked with room 9 on this. Students tried to innovate on different types of sports equipment.
