Cultured Eating: April 2010
http://group3blog201.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. Food: Invigorating Body, Mind, and Spirit. The expression “You are what you eat” is an expression that seems to have been around as long as time. What does it truly mean? For most it ranges from meanings such as you are eating the actual spirit of that particular food item, to just a washed up expression, meaningless expression. McKeith, Gillian. You Are What You Eat: The Plan That Will Change Your Life. New York, New York: Penguin Group, 2005. Print. Healthy Food, Healthy Mind.

Monday, May 31, 2010. Without a doubt Lamb and Cabbage veggies. I honestly can't say too much about this recipe because its basically just something my mom cooked up for St. Patrick's day and continued to do so ever since I was in Middle School. Its a healthy meal, a hot meal, and VERY tasty. Mouthwatering and easy to chew as well. You can find the basics of this meal here:. Cultured Eating: The Reliability Characteristic
http://group3blog201.blogspot.com/2010/05/reliability-characteristic.html
Monday, May 24, 2010. I think there is some good to GMOs, but it makes me nervous that they are not labeled on packaging. I would like to be informed about what I am consuming, and if it is something I don't want in my body, I should know before I ingest it. Haugen, David, and Susan Musser, (eds.). Genetic engineering. FOOD!: April 2010
http://foodgroup1.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 26, 2010. You are what you eat. It is important to look at these things both personally and as a community. I know they only way for me to combat becoming obese is to be aware; the same needs to be done as a nation. I am recommending an Opposing View Points book. It presents articles that show different aspects of the topic of obesity. Obesity : Opposing Viewpoints. Detroit, MI: Greenhaven Press, 2006. Print. We are what we eat. Through my surfing of the internets, I've happened upon videos...

Cultured Eating: I'm Not Loving It
http://group3blog201.blogspot.com/2010/05/im-not-loving-it.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. I'm Not Loving It. Another shocking fact was the amount of illnesses that occurred. Annually 179,000 Americans contracted a food related illness. It especially hit me when they talked about the two-year old boy who was infected with e coli. The pain he went through really tugged on the heart strings. Not to mention the astounding fact that they took 16 days after the boy was infected to stop selling the meat. May 11, 2010 at 10:11 PM. May 11, 2010 at 10:48 PM. LIB 201: Group 4.

Saturday, May 15, 2010. I think one thing I will definitely do is buy at least two copies of this movie and send them around to my family and friends, pleading for them to watch it. I think its about time we spread the word and introduce people to where their food is coming from. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). LIB 201: Group 4. Library 201 - Proff Page. Cultured Eating: Hometown Farmers Market
http://group3blog201.blogspot.com/2010/05/hometown-farmers-market.html
Tuesday, May 11, 2010. My Mother went with me and we had an interesting time squeezing through the crowded aisles of the covered market. It took is about 30 minutes just to walk through and glance at all the stalls! He said then find any dressing, and even suggested taking a look around to see if anyone was selling any of their own dressing, since he wasn't sure. I thought it was amazing that the people at the market were suggesting other stalls to go to! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
