Montag, 25. Juli 2011. Aus 2 mach 1. Früher hatten sie noch mehr Mut, die Wand war dünner. Altes Ende auf neue Gabel. So passt auch der alte Lenker. Der Kotflügel musste Blech lassen. Neue Verkleidung für den Dämpfer. Samstag, 16. Juli 2011. Da der Vari endlich fährt, wird das nächste Projekt in Angriff genommen. Passt doch glatt ein 200.er Motor rein. Die Vespa bekommt eine hydraulische Bremse. Platz wird gemacht für den Hauptbremszylinder. Schaut ja gar nicht mal so schlecht aus. ENDLICH AUF DER STRASSE.

So when one popped up for sale about 90km from where I live I had take a look and ended up owning it. The seller was a friend of mine, and he wanted a driver instead, so we traded our typ3's. Tipis aircooled and other stuff. Thursday, September 6, 2012. I went to the Netherlands for a business trip, and just after ten minutes after leaving the airport I saw a T2 Westfalia Camper on a flat bed of a car transporter. Then next morning I was walking one kilometer way from the hotel to our factory, I spot familiar looking race car on a display window, closer look and and I realise it is the ex Clyde Berg car. It was on the cover of april 2004 issue of the Dune Buggies And Hot VW's.

Donnerstag, 25. September 2008. My car went to Rehab - yeahyeahyeah . My 61 went to Alex of aircooled-nation to get healthier for the next inspection. Last MoT was approx. 2005. I drove there in May. But there were more troubles than expected. Eg new lines and hoses were needed and "I" changed to a 2 circuit brake system.
