The Secret Garden
http://thesecretgarden13.blogspot.com/2007/03/whitewashing-1970s.html
Friday, March 02, 2007. You see, I was left with brown cabinets upon the sale of the house to me 14 years ago. In that time, I have always envisioned them to be white. clear, clean, crisp white. Something that brought them out of the 1970's and into the new millenium. The picture with this post is not my kitchen, but imagine my surprise when I found it on the web. It's almost the spitting image of mine. dark, cavelike. And how did it all fit in those small cupboards? Right down the street, huh? Being a n...

Just Carli Being Carli: A POST THAT WILL MAKE SENSE TO A FEW NEXT TO NORMAL FANS, AND NO ONE ELSE
http://firstladyofdullsville.blogspot.com/2009/12/post-that-will-make-sense-to-few-next.html
Just Carli Being Carli. Monday, December 14, 2009. A POST THAT WILL MAKE SENSE TO A FEW NEXT TO NORMAL FANS, AND NO ONE ELSE. Then again, when do my posts ever make much sense to anyone? Anyhoo, in honor of Alice Ripley's birthday, I'm going to ghostwrite a memoir, called "She Only Pours the Kashi: The Tragic Tell-All Story of an Unopened Box of Weetabix.". Also, on a mostly unrelated matter, I'm thinking of having a t-shirt made that says, "Suspend Disbelief, Mother Fucker! Posted by Carli N. Wendell.

Been Some Places, Seen Some Things. It's just a bunch of bits and pieces of things and stuff that someday might actually be something. or not. Monday, April 09, 2007. Besides, I still get to “graduate” in the spring, right? There is one other teensy-weensy factor that comes into play as well. As a matter of fact, it was the straw that tipped the scale in favor of a fall graduation. My grade point average is currently 3.72. (UPDATE: After 15 more units at 4.0, my GPA is now 3.8. Friday, August 17, 2007. A writer, writing. Sometimes you forget that to be good at something you have to practice. That is exactly what this project, The Strider. I can't say I'm not proud of my work, but I know it could be better than it is, so I'll keep plugging away at it. I hope I find the time during this semester to keep writing and raising the quality of the site to something akin to how I imagine it could be. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Secret Garden: January 2006
http://thesecretgarden13.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 29, 2006. Setting a good example. We were told that nobody liked brats, so we did our best not to be labeled as such, and we were fortunate for that foundation that my parents found so important in our upbringing. A question conspirators could write books about with our present administration. What's to say they couldn't interpret the law to fit their own benefits. I think that idea scares me more. Posted by Ellen at 5:50 PM. Saturday, January 28, 2006. Happy birthday, Eric! I'm writing y...

Wednesday, May 31, 2006. The threshold of life. Experience along the way altered many of the answers of my youth; I can see clearer and wider than the confines of my own mind, and self-education is key to surviving the path of life. As the graduates of the Class of 2006 enter yet another rite of passage, I wish them well, and leave them with a few lessons I've learned while walking down the yellow brick road:. Being at the threshold is the opportunity we middle-agers wish we could recapture. with all...

The Secret Garden: April 2006
http://thesecretgarden13.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 28, 2006. Just a dream away. Instead, I'll be assaulting my legs and feet once more with another wedding to cater. Oh well, it pays the bills, right? I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and gets to enjoy their moments away from the drudgery of the working world. Even if I can't be there, I'll be dreaming about it in my few moments of downtime. Posted by Ellen at 11:15 PM. Thursday, April 27, 2006. He thought as he flew down I-95, pushing the pedal to the metal even more. Have a good da...

Thursday, July 11, 2013. YouTubing and Ten Minute Challenges. But why? Browse YouTube for long enough and eventually you will run into a 10-minute challenge - a single, few-seconds-long clip of some anime, repeated on a loop for ten whole minutes. Hetalia's Italy saying "pasta," over and over and over and over. For example. (*shudder*). And then I found this ten hour challenge. Wherein Star Trek and bad electronica meld together seamlessly, and suddenly the world is a happier place. Is YouTube a verb now?
