I’m Running A Marathon. By the time you read this, I will be already in the midst of running the Lakefront Marathon. The training has been intense, both mentally and physically, but honestly? 160; I think the worst part so far has been the waiting for the race. The running, I can handle. The waiting? 160; It’s excruciating! I run my last “long” run tonight (i.e. 20-22 miles) before my marathon. I can’t believe it’s already less than 27 days away…. 1 Response so far ». April 30, 2010 @ 8:00 pm. Hi I am 12 years old and I ran the Hyannis Marathon. I had to train for 92 days to get perfect. How long did you have to train for? 1 Day, 19 Hours.

I could not be happier to say that my official time was 4 hrs 16 minutes and 19 seconds (although my watch was at 4:15.58.details), which officially bested my previous personnel record (PR) by 1 hrs 52 minutes and 42 seconds.
