Because I get off on running, biking, swimming. and especially running. On Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Ever since we moved to Colorado, Ross and I have wanted to hike a 14'er. For non-Coloradoans, a 14'er is a mountain peak that towers over 14,000 feet in the air. Colorado has 53 - the most of any state - and because of the thin air and the beauty and all, it's a great feat to hike one. Hiking Fish Creek Falls last summer. Back when a 2.5 hour hike was a LONG hike! My happy hiker on the way to Lily Pad Lake.

Bicycle Tour Colorado is a week long bike tour around Colorado. For those of you who don't really know what that is, basically, you bike from town to town over a week and the "tour" sets up the route, aid stations, transports your luggage in between, etc. to make it all possible. Because I get off on running, biking, swimming. and especially running. On Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Not really - that's a joke. It comes from the triathlon I did this weekend which was called. LEGEND. BUT, in all seriousness, it was a serious distance with some serious hardware at the end. BUT, when Kansas 70.3 sold their rights to Legend and then added the option of doing a 100, a new distance did excite me! 2 mile swim 80 mile bike 18 mile run = 100. YIKES! But again, I signed up for this, right? Trying ...
