Payge's blog: I am poem
http://payge26.blogspot.com/2015/03/i-am-poem.html
Sunday, 15 March 2015. I am smart and kind like a caring Kiwi. I wonder about my future and how it will turn out. I hear birds chirping on a frosty summer morning. I see my brother laughing and having fun. I want to be a horse rider. I am smart and kind like a caring Kiwi. I pretend I am a chocolate tester. I feel chocolate waterfalls in my imagination. I touch a golden goose, resting on a pond. I worry when my family members are sick. I cry for homeless people. I am smart and kind like a caring Kiwi.

The whole school filled up the hall and enjoy the humour, rhyming and advise from the 'The Minstrel' about fishing in our seas, rivers and lakes and to make sure there will be fish for the future. When we returned to class we wrote in any way we wanted to and wrote about the visit, our experiences, some rules, and some of us wrote the story as a made up story and used our imagination.
