Artful Observations: New Banner
http://www.artfulobservations.com/2011/11/new-banner.html
Tuesday, November 8, 2011. I finally got around to making a new blog banner, having been inspired by a fabulous digital kit from Deviant Scrap. Called Ode to a Muse 2. The Muse referenced is Michael DeMeng. Master purveyor of all things creepy-cool. He teaches workshops and also has a line of stamps with Stamper's Anonymous. My banner was made mostly with elements from the Ode to a Muse 2 kit. But the man in white and the little boy are from another Deviant Scrap kit, Slightly Sinister. Photos, text and ...

Susie's Artful Expeditions: October 2007
http://susieart.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 29, 2007. This month's theme was children. I decided to go with some things I liked to do as a child, reading and playing games. I got great inspiration from the Tim Holtz background papers, found some wonderful images and took it from there. Monday, October 22, 2007. These are for a nature themed swap, and I also combined them somewhat inadvertently with another challenge to use leaves. The background for these is fabric, which is new for me, but it was fun to work with.
