An outlet for me to write about my life and thoughts here in Germany. Golf carts and a Frozen party to bring in the New Year. January 1, 2015. Chris’s mom and brother and wife flew down from Canada and rented a place out in Palm Desert for the week after Christmas. It was fun to get to spend time together. One of the highlights for the girls was riding around the little streets in the golf carts. The girls loved it. =). Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. An outlet for me to write about my life and thoughts here in Germany. December 9, 2014. We used to try to go to Disneyland on our furloughs back to CA, but the prices have just gotten ridiculous. So this year we went to Knott’s Berry Farm with my family instead. The weather was perfect, it wasn’t crowded, and we had so much fun there – for a fraction of Disneyland’s price. (So. Disneyland – we don’t need you! The girls loved their first funnel cake experience. =). March 11, 2015 at 3:07 am.

An outlet for me to write about my life and thoughts here in Germany. The Reluctant Mary and Other Christmas Tidings. December 26, 2014. The girls had Christmas programs – Sierra is standing by the microphone. We spent some time on Christmas at a lovely park in the hills. It was nice to be outside. Every year I had some pages to the “Grandparents’ Album” at Christmastime for my parents and Chris’s mom. It was such fun to get to be here to see my parents look through the pages. An outlet for me to write about my life and thoughts here in Germany. Legoland, Part 2! March 10, 2015. Yesterday we visited Legoland when it was actually open. Places are more fun when they are open. It was sunny and beautiful, and we had a great time. We are so thankful to my sweet friend for giving us tickets! Thank you, M! If I had had a phone with me, I would have sent you a picture of us actually in the park! Is that one cool auntie, or what? March 11, 2015 at 3:09 am. Oh, what a fun day!

An outlet for me to write about my life and thoughts here in Germany. February 11, 2015. Sierra had a fun field trip to a nearby fire station. We learned a lot! Here she is getting to shoot the fire hose. We’re doing Awana this year, and they had a “Super Saturday” with lots of outdoor games – the day before the Super Bowl. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Souter life in the OC. Life experiences of a Christian Family living in Orange County,CA. Tucked away near the Anaheim Golf Course is a park I never knew existed… Oak Canyon. It’s full of beautiful oak trees and 3 easy hiking trails. Cadiz went to a week long Nature Camp with 2 of her school buddies. They learned about nature, made crafts, and went on the trails. The kids even performed in front of the parents. We will be praying for the little nature center in Anaheim Hills! The kids ADORE their daddy!

Areopagus and the Snuffle-Upagus. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of two little boys. Thursday, November 27, 2008. I hope you are all able to spend the day with people you love. As for me, I've been slaving over a pot of cranberry sauce, my sole contribution to our family feast. Soon we'll head for my Dad's house for a quick meal after which we head to the airport to pick up Jake, Laura, and Jack. For me, Thanksgiving doesn't get any better! Saturday, November 15, 2008. A League of Their Own. The pitcher ...
