Friday, July 31, 2015. The moon belongs to everyone, the best things in life are free. Is an additional full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year, either the third of four full moons in a season or, a second full moon in a month of the common calendar. Always have one full moon a month. Early this summer, we enjoyed a moon walk with Judy and Mr. Cranberry of Cranberry Morning. Taking a drive up to the highest point of the area you live. Boat rides out on a lake. Big, leafy trees. And a happy heart.

The River: August 2015

Monday, August 31, 2015. This year was my first year to try growing celery. Looking at the photo above, you would think, how on earth is that celery going to look like the celery I purchase at the store? The trick is the following. Once the celery is tall enough, you will wrap a paper bag around the plant, leaving the topmost foliage exposed. Tie the paper in place with twine. What we are doing is blanching the celery. You do need to check the progress of the blanching, celery is susceptible to rot.

The River: A Fun Summer Craft To Do With Kids
http://theriverflowing.blogspot.com/2015/07/a-fun-summer-craft-to-do-with-kids.html
Monday, July 20, 2015. A Fun Summer Craft To Do With Kids. I learned how to do this fun new way to do Tie-Dye at 4-H camp several years ago. I recently did the craft again with the boys. You begin by thinking up a design. I did flowers. Using the cups you place them under the T-Shirt, place the rubber band around the cup. Using Sharpie Markers, you create your design. Take a few drops of alcohol using the eye dropper and place on the design. After you have completed your design, let it dry for a day.
