Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Chris and I just spent some fun grandchildren time In Utah last week! I don't know how we crammed so much into just a few days : ). Here is the beginning of the busy week. Luke and I at the Natural History Museum at the University of Utah. Lots of dinosaurs and other fun exhibits! The always gorgeous Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point! Time well spent with baby Sophie, Little Luke, Chris, and my daughter Julie. Wishing my little Tyson an early Happy Birthday! The big 3 years : ).

Sunday, January 29, 2012. A three dog life". Sunday, January 22, 2012. I have been so busy with other things as well as being burned out on the computer for some time, so have not posted any new blogs for a while. Now I am feeling more energetic so will try to catch up. I especially need to post my picture of all of the grand children! The first picture is probably better but Luke is turning his head and you can't see his face : ). Oh well.it is amazing we got most of them to look the right way (lol).

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. May Utah Visit (The End! Our last day in Utah happened to fall on Chris' 60th birthday so it was party time! We had a BBQ at Julie's home and Rafa was our chef at the grill. Everyone brought their own meat and their was a variety there. The grandkids loved playing with each other (in the house and out : ) When it was time for the cake everyone joined in with the party. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Finally posting on Summergrass Bluegrass Festival in Vista, California. Chris and I had a wonderful Saturday enjoying many great bluegrass acts. We especially enjoyed The Grascals (and the amazing Kristen Scott Benson on the banjo) and Bluegrass Ect. We always enjoy watching the little ones play! Sunday, June 10, 2012. Visit to Forest Lawn Glendale. Well here comes another post on visiting a cemetery, or memorial park, which probably sounds less morbid to some : ) We did have a family reason to visit this one but it didn't keep me from looking for some famous persons who were buried here. Forest Lawn in Glendale was the first to be called a Memorial Park instead of cemetery. The buildings are beautiful and the grounds are impressive. Jimmy Stewart's (Its a wonderful life! Wednesday, June 1, 2011. I just got back from the most wonderful lace retreat ever! Freeway Lace Guild hosted a lace conference at the Highland Springs Resort in Beaumont, California this Memorial Day Weekend. I especially love the more rural retreats for lacing and this one was especially great! The resort is also a functioning organic farm/ranch. I'm still addicted to watching Cash and Treasures on the Travel Channel, even if Becky Worley is gone (wah! Enjoy the new baby, Becky, we understand) and now we have Kirsten. The show has gone from showcasing the treasure to an attempted star vehicle for Kirsten Gum. Suh-weeeeet! Can I get a Suh-weet! In case you wonder, Kirsten exclaimed "Sweet"!
