Flying Free: Pony Time!!!
http://jumpthestars.blogspot.com/2016/06/pony-time.html
My personal journey: exploring horsemanship, college, growing up, and life in general. Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Guess which girl was able to see her own horses in person last week? This one, of course! Due to previous circumstances, I was able to get almost all of last week off from work and go back to East Texas to spend time with my family and, obviously, the lovely little mare that I am privileged to call mine! Also got to see my favorite dog again! That was great :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

My personal journey: exploring horsemanship, college, growing up, and life in general. Saturday, February 20, 2016. Because of how he travels, I had a hard time with my balance at the trot, both in twopoint and posting. We did a lap of sitting trot and WOW is he smooth! Seriously, I've never sat a more comfortable trot. We did a lot of work on on getting a consistent, balanced canter and it was lovely when we got it right. The next day, I popped out to ride again since the weather was fantastic! On Monda...

Flying Free: January 2016
http://jumpthestars.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html
My personal journey: exploring horsemanship, college, growing up, and life in general. Saturday, January 30, 2016. Two weeks ago at work, everyone was going on and on about the Powerball and what they would do if they won. Since I don't buy tickets, the entire idea was a no-go for me, but it did get me thinking. What would I do if I ever became rich? But we would all end up putting some of that money into horses, right? Except that I would want to buy up the biggest piece of land that I could find and tu...

Flying Free: Something is Missing
http://jumpthestars.blogspot.com/2016/06/something-is-missing.html
My personal journey: exploring horsemanship, college, growing up, and life in general. Friday, June 17, 2016. I've lived in West Texas for 7.5 months now, but its just now starting to sink in just how much I miss my horse. So, am I selfish for wanting to bring her here to live in an environment that will require stall time and far less turnout than she is used to? All in all, something is missing from my life right now, and that something is my favorite ordinary mare. Next week, I make the trek back acro...

Flying Free: Three Months...
http://jumpthestars.blogspot.com/2016/06/three-months.html
My personal journey: exploring horsemanship, college, growing up, and life in general. Friday, June 10, 2016. It's been three months, to the day, since my last post here. Sadly, the biggest reason for the absence has been my absence from the horse world in general. sad face tears. I'm still religiously reading all the other blogs in the equine blogosphere, and I should probably start commenting again too instead of stalking. Tracy - Fly On Over. June 13, 2016 at 10:30 AM.
