For Love of a Motorbike: Who'd Have Thought...
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2014/01/who-have-thought.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Atlanta would see these temps? Yes, that is in Fahrenheit. I haven't seen any motorbikes on the road today. The big concern would be from breaking sprinkler pipes laying great sheets of ice across the road. Don't laugh. It is happening. :). Jan 7, 2014, 2:16:00 PM. I was surprised too. I thought it was always warmer where you were. Glad to see you back. Make sure to turn off your outside taps. Riding the Wet Coast. Jan 8, 2014, 11:51:00 PM. Meanwhile, I ...

For Love of a Motorbike: Giving it a Rethink
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2014/06/giving-it-rethink.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Sunday, June 1, 2014. Giving it a Rethink. It all culminates down to motivation and time. Over the last couple months we have ridden a little. We (I) have worked a paying gig as an official Motorcycle Marshal for a bicycle race south of Atlanta, in pouring rain. We had the great pleasure of running around with Mike over at Scooter for Fun. I was recently in New Jersey for a training class. I just missed out on meeting up with Jack the Riepe. Oilburner had already removed his mars...

For Love of a Motorbike: Those Who Can't Do...
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2014/02/those-who-can-do.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Sunday, February 9, 2014. Those Who Cant Do. I've been meaning to order some of these for awhile. So I went whole hog and purchased tons. And still I forgot to order one. One Man Caravan is completely engrossing. A gentleman who rode 'round the world in 1932! Feb 9, 2014, 9:32:00 PM. Must be time to sit by the fireplace and read, eh…. Nice selection of books. Feb 10, 2014, 3:20:00 PM. I keep forgetting I have a fireplace in this house! Feb 9, 2014, 11:25:00 PM. My personal fav is...

For Love of a Motorbike: March 2013
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Friday, March 29, 2013. Gone and Done It. Yep Rode to work today. Yesterday started at 31F and ended at 64F. When I walked out of work last night it was just too gorgeous and I lamented not being on the bike. It was a lovely ride, just before traffic started to get really crazy. But I'm really looking forward to the 64F temp on the way home. Yeah, I'm gonna leave a little early and enjoy the day. Have a great weekend everyone! Hope yours starts out as well as mine. Some people li...

For Love of a Motorbike: September 2012
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Day 12 - Bar Harbor, ME to Portland, ME. Yes It is getting long in time and I tend to be verbose. You might be getting bored with the Maine excursion, but I'm darn well gonna put it down before my dotage takes hold and I completely forget it all. So on to day 12? Oilburner took our stash to the Post Office while I tried to get everything packed up and cleaned. An horrible experience at the Post Office convinced us we were making a good decision t...

For Love of a Motorbike: July 2013
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Monday, July 22, 2013. We have way too much shit. (Sorry Grandpa, but that is the best word for it. Crap just does do this junk justice.). We've managed to pack up about half of the kitchen, most of the bookshelves in the living room (devoid of books, but fragiles remain for packing), and most of the spare room. Remaining: master bedroom, closet (ugh), office, and garage (oh my goodness, I don't even want to think about that! So we canceled all vacation plans and set in earnest t...

For Love of a Motorbike: August 2012
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Monday, August 27, 2012. Day 11 - Bar Harbor and Acadia. The continental breakfast wasn't anything special, but it was free. (Even though I sometimes feel that just because it is free doesn't make it worth it.) We ate mini muffins, fresh fruit, apple juice, and a couple hard-boiled eggs. We partook of a picnic bench that was partially in the sun to avoid the horrid diners inside. We were disgusted by the lack of courtesy or civility or even manners! People can be so annoying.
