Celebrating All Families: December 2008
http://celebratingallfamilies.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Blog about my life in general.being a former foster parent, a transracial adoptive mom, an avid gardener and a wannabe urban homesteader. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. As a foster parent I think we get used to thriving in stress. The ambush of a new placement, rushing to get clothes, furniture, formula/food, doctors appointments all at a moments notice. Today is such a day. My hands are full, but at least we've learned to thrive when under stress. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 06/04 Licensed foster parents.

How much diversity are we looking for?

Heck I'm just now realizing most of my values and cultural views have to do with my midwestern roots. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 11/06 Ekida placed ...

The germs we avoided this summer have been brought home to roost. Just when I thought I couldn't blow my nose one more time.it moved to my chest. Sometimes getting it right, sometimes barely hanging on, always searching for a better way. February 26, 2009. Even in my sickened misery, I felt giddy joy at watching some of these gems again: First up, Sinead O'Connor with MC Lyte:. Going Underground" by The Jam. Check out how fresh this would be now! What goes around comes around! Last night about her favorite album. Mere hours later, I'm watching this video, and I haven't thought about Lemonheads in years. "It's a Shame About Ray.". Then, they had to...
