Tuesday, January 24, 2006. 2nd graders/Circle Rock Preparatory School. The 2nd graders in room 269 were very excited when working on their acrostic poems. Our African American History Month was celebrated with 2 days of excitement! Starting with Urban Gateways, a traveling group visiting schools promoting history and culture in the Black community. On this past Friday, our schools gymnasium was transformed into an African Village. Countries representing were, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, and Madagascar.
