Did i type that out loud? Friday, February 25, 2011. Oh, my brain is a surging inbox, full of mental notes that got misfiled. My mouth is an open window on a blustery day. After getting a writing job back in the States, though, my need to write was satiated in other forms, and my blog dried up. This is my second attempt to bring it back-and my first post of the New Year, 2011. But what have I done since the last promise to be more faithful to my blog and my loyal followers twelve? Wrote a cover story.

Last weekend was spent in Dresden with Micha, where we ate lots of ice cream, took a pricey boat tour, got some old building culture, slept in a car, went to the German Hygiene Museum and drank beer at a GDR-style pub, where we tried really hard to think of something we have in common. Did i type that out loud? Sunday, February 21, 2010. Rich came to visit me in Erfurt, the day before Max had to leave. Since there are only two tourist attractions in Erfurt (the Dom and the Krämerbrücke) Erich and I didn't have to stress out trying to stuff the weekend full of sightseeing. Did i type that out loud? Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Epic failures and successes. I've come to the conclusion that I don't want to, more like can't, have two pursuits going at once. Work and school have never really gone well together for me. Work takes over. I come home and feel justified in not getting any schoolwork done, because I have been at work; writing, maxing out my brain, making money. School is fast losing its luster. Pics to come. Maybe.
