Setting The Record Straight. Victor de Koenigsberg was born in Russia, educated in Hidelberg, Germany, moved to Paris, France sometime in the 30’s and finally found his way to the USA. He was inducted on January 13th 1943 at the Local board # 24, NY,NY. He served in the Air Corps (Sargent, June 1943) then as an Infantry G2 ( Army Intelligence). Became Staff Sargent or T/3, January 1945 in the 104th Regiment, 26th (Yankee) Division of General Patton’s Army. Victor and Nicolas de Koenigsberg.
