August 4, 2015. August 4, 2015. Here I am 7 days without alcohol. It has been an interesting week; with interesting insights. I think the most surprising insight was that I didn’t crave that after work glass of wine or cold beer. I definitely thought about it; don’t get me wrong, a nice cold beer with our hot weather would have been refreshing. However the iced tea I drank was just as refreshing. In all honesty I was hoping for huge revelations or something significant in my sober month. KEEP CALM and stay sober. August 11, 2015. August 11, 2015. Hello Everyone. Today marks day 14 without alcohol; I am truly amazed at how easy this has been. I thought I would severely miss alcohol… my wine especially which is really a surprise to me. Last week Thursday and Friday were tough days at work and I did feel like a glass of wine at the end of the day would have been perfect which tells me my triggers are stress.
