Otis is the codename for our first release. Here you will get some specs and other info about the game as they’re released and eventually will be able to sign up for Beta access and then purchase it later! Overview: Otis is a 2D platformer in the vein of Super Mario 3. We are still working out the full feature list, but currently we have features like Jumping, Walking, Running, Standing in Place and Falling. Expected Release: When it’s done (sometime this year). I’m Really Good at Playing my own Game. December 3, 2012 4:00 pm. This jump to open the second level was not a welcome idea. It’s also nice because I was worried I was running through all my tricks really fast. But now being able to stretch things out a bit more, I can make each level it’s own challenge in a slow ramp up to the real stuff instead of front loading everything. The Most Recent Delay. The Most Recent Delay. June 17, 2013 5:56 pm. What in the world could I possibly have left you may ask? Well, got some art to wrap up. Some level design. And the sound. Story’s done. Engine’s done. Bugs mostly taken care of. But man, that content generation. Takes some doin’. So anyway, that’s about it. I’ll be getting a trailer together when the games finished and that’ll be fun. Also, quick announcement, we’re looking to add a Mac version of the game after the PC release. We’ll be porting it to Monogame. And hopefully will have that out late this summer.
