Saturday, March 16, 2013. Baby legs are adorable. I made some. Here's how:. Sewing machine (or if you don't have one and have tons of time to kill I guess you could handsew them with just a needle and thread). Sewing pins (sort of optional). 1 Get a pair of knee-high adult socks (maybe use kid-sized if you want some newborn babylegs). 2Cut off the toes and heels. 3 You want the leftovers to look like this. The foot pieces will become cuffs and the longer pieces will be the legs. 125 for dollar store socks.

http://1october.blogspot.com/2013/05/lachlans-birth-story-part-four.html
Sunday, May 5, 2013. Lachlan's Birth Story: Part Four. Find parts 1-3 HERE. Umbilical cord came with him and was pinned next to his head so he wasn’t getting enough oxygen. It’s called cord prolapsed occult. I had heard of cord prolapse but didn’t realize there were different versions, undetectable during labour. We will never know if I could have safely pushed him out but he is here and healthy and that’s all that matters. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Enjoying the Small Things. If I Knew Then.

Journey Through The Looking Glass: Today's learners and the IRP
http://journey-through-the-looking-glass.blogspot.com/2011/10/todays-learners-and-irp.html
Journey Through The Looking Glass. Friday, 7 October 2011. Today's learners and the IRP. Who exactly are today’s learners? How do they learn? Engagement in the classroom. 21. How does a new teacher figure out what to teach? The BC IRPs . . . Upon closer inspection of the ELA IRP, I began to see patterns and repetition emerge as I started to make sense of the document. For example, in grades 3-5 PLO B1 (reading and viewing). I imagine that much of my first few years of teaching will be spent conversing wi...

1 October: Wedding
http://1october.blogspot.com/p/our-wedding.html
After 5 happy years together Stephanie and Andrew were finally married. The event took place at a classy golf course and included 90 of our most favourite friends and family. Planning - This was my first mood board-type thing. We used theknot.com's checklist for most of our planning needs. Attire - The men rented tuxes, the ladies chose their own black dresses and I wore an ivory, strapless, sweetheart neckline, mermaid-style dress of alencon lace with a black sash and a simple veil. Honeymoon - We honey...

Sunday, October 28, 2012. Baby's size and development? Baby is the size of a delicious Avocado, weighing about 5 ounces and measuring 5 inches long. It can sense light, begin to hear outside noises and riverdance on my bladder. Telling our families and having that weight off our shoulders. Lots of happy tears and wine (for the future Grandma's, that is)/eating so much stuffing and gravy. No more nausea or indigestion! What I'm looking forward to? Our housewarming party next weekend!
