I LOVE CORGI TOYS: Bring Back Corgi Toys!
http://ilovecorgitoys.blogspot.com/2017/01/bring-back-corgi-toys.html
Thursday, 5 January 2017. Bring Back Corgi Toys! Model Collector magazine had an interesting article with this title in its Xmas 2016 edition. A chap called Wilf Bainbridge wrote suggesting that Corgi pay serious attention to producing replicas of some old models. He says that with modern production techniques permitting far cheaper manufacture it ought to be possible for the present Corgi to make new copies of the old models at rather less than we have to pay for originals in good condition. Many recent...

Stamp Crazy!: Forest Scenes by Toth
http://crazyphilatelist.blogspot.com/2015/03/forest-scenes-by-toth.html
Sunday, 22 March 2015. Forest Scenes by Toth. Rudolph Toth was an incredibly gifted Austrian stamp engraver. He often worked in collaboration with the designer, A. Pilch. In 1962 Toth engraved a set of stamps for Austria showcasing some of the country's stunning forests. In my view, Toth has done an amazing job capturing the majesty of the Austrian forest. In the first stamp, Toth depicts a Lowland Forest using various shades of grey to good affect. For more on deciduous forests. Lavender Hill Mob Forgery.

I LOVE CORGI TOYS: October 2016
http://ilovecorgitoys.blogspot.com/2016_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 26 October 2016. A long drive in Victoria, Australia for this Chevrolet impala. Well, this is the address but I don't see anyone around! In fact, I don't see anyone around for miles and miles in this part of Victoria, Australia. The beautiful and almost as new Chevrolet Impala suits these open roads, though, but a fuel station fairly nearby might be required! We need to go back to the Pony Club again. The missing one arrived today and I am hoping that completes the range. One thing that di...

I LOVE CORGI TOYS: Red seats in the Corgi Pony Club Land Rover
http://ilovecorgitoys.blogspot.com/2016/11/red-seats-in-corgi-pony-club-land-rover.html
Thursday, 24 November 2016. Red seats in the Corgi Pony Club Land Rover. Somewhere in the States a colleague found this Gift Set 15. A seemingly ordinary but nice and clean Whizzwheels Land Rover towing the usual Rice Beaufort Horse-Box with cast wheels containing two original issue ponies too. He rightly queried. Red seats! Quite a relief when it did, finally, arrive. It was red. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 205 / 205M Riley Pathfinder. Corgi Toys by Andrew Hill. HobbyDB Catalogue and Store.

I LOVE CORGI TOYS: May 2016
http://ilovecorgitoys.blogspot.com/2016_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 24 May 2016. Brooklyn, Ciney and Cornwall. I get around. Brooklyn, New York, is definitely where this car could belong, although the neighbourhood looks a bit too smart for this somewhat run-down version of the car. Ciney in belgium is where this Citroen DS19 had to go. It sort of looks content there. A late edition Rolls Royce makes it through the very narrow Cornish lanes to Luxulyan where the car seems bigger than this chap's house! Friday, 20 May 2016. Lotus Elan S2 with a difference. I LOVE CORGI TOYS: January 2017
http://ilovecorgitoys.blogspot.com/2017_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 January 2017. The problem with a Thunderbird. This is something you may not often see; a full set of Ford Thunderbird Hard Tops. Whilst the pale green and cream 214 and later dark grey and maroon 214S were very popular and fairly easy to find still, the pink and black 214M is quite scarce. You couldn't get the same turn of speed from the M editions either, and with a name like Thunderbird you needed a car that really could be whizzed around the carpet at speed. That won't be easy either.

I LOVE CORGI TOYS: A Citroën SM and a scary tree with no leaves in Albertson NY
http://ilovecorgitoys.blogspot.com/2016/11/a-citroen-sm-and-scary-tree-with-no.html
Friday, 25 November 2016. A Citroën SM and a scary tree with no leaves in Albertson NY. A short while ago, I sent a Chevrolet Corvette to someone who lived at an address that translated as something like Devil's Kitchen Road. Now this lovely mauve Citroën SM is on its way to somewhere just west of New York, to an owner who refers to himself as Hell's Kitchen Deuce! Heavens alive, with Amityville just down the road I am wondering just what is happening to my customer base! That tree looks pretty scary too!
