We're savage in the saddle and beasts on the bike. Leaving Charlottesville was pretty tough. My own room, fresh clothes, home cooking, my gorgeous computer with its 32” monitor, air conditioning…. We piled our heavy gear into the trunk and took off feeling light as a feather. You instantly go like 30% faster. I’d say the “difficulty” stays the same though because you just readjust/recalibrate. The trip will begin around June 20th in San Francisco and end around August 20th in Yorktown, VA. The couple months that this trip will take us will be extremely challenging but also incredibly rewarding.
