Power from the Landscape. Alternative technology Centre - Hebden Bridge. New hydropower system installed. A new hydropower system at an old mill site in the South Pennines has been installed. The site uses 3 Powerspout Turgo turbines, using around 8 l/s each on 7 metres of head. Output (with 2 machines running) was around 860 Watts when I visited. The system was designed by Andrew Menzies of 350 Energy. Hydropower display at the ATC. Small high head site near Hebden. Bridge Mill 2 - development.
