Friday, November 30, 2012. Today's gift is being positive. My mom came down today to go with me to take my daughter to. Doctor. Nothing is wrong, I'm just being proactive. However, the thought of us adding a seventh doctor to her regular list of doctors made me kinda sad. At least this doctor would probably be on the list.Rett or not. The waiting room was packed! My immediate thought was. This is why I don't like (I think I actually used the word hate. A negative thought. Only followed by another one.

Being around her daddy.whether it is playing ball, swimming in the pool, snuggling with him watching tv.she loves to spend time with him. You can not only. It in her eyes, but. It in her voice! From the way her eyes light up when she sees him first thing in the morning to the joy in her voice "da-ddeeeeeee" when he walks in the door at night from work. When you have a child who is non-verbal you learn.

We had every intention of being there for the welcome back portion as we had been last year. but we got a late start saturday morning and then hit traffic and then my flip flop broke and then we got there and it was over. but there were still hugs all around-some playing in the sand, visiting, chip eating and laughs were had. Colleen and jared were there with claire and chloe. they make me smile-for so many reasons. It is comfortable. it is easier. it is normal. Oops, missed May.

Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Isn't it funny that we don't count the day of our birth as our first birth day? That we wait one whole year before we really celebrate? Shouldn't the actual birth day count? I remember so well the night before-as much as the day of. i have written about it almost every year. the food I ate, the forced contractions on the couch (that we still own and is still hanging in there) and trying to sleep that night knowing my life would change forever the next day. I did find some time this afternoon to add a few more inches to my sock. Tomorrow I hope to get the heel done.
