Our adventures of being new parents in a new city. Posted by: craig and melissa. February 8, 2012. WNW: Walk, walk, walk. That’s right, you’re not seeing things. In case you didn’t know, it’s February and not Halloween anymore! Sorry about our disappearance. Eesh. I promise(! That I’ll return soon with updates on Connor’s medical standing… but speaking of standing, we have a boy on our hands that is now taking steps on his own! This boy loves his football (and watching the games, too). Hip Surgery 3.5.

The New Normal: November 2010
http://thenewnormallubinski.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. We have been very busy! We had his first Thanksgiving in Lancaster, which was so much fun, and then I went back to work. I'm working just on the weekends, so I'm still around all week long (thank goodness! But the downside is that I am missing some quality family time on the weekends :-( I'm starting to think that parenting is all about tradeoffs. Look at those thighs! At least he has clothes on :-). Can't wait to go for a car ride! Wednesday, November 17, 2010. The burp cloth...

The Journey: Thankful
http://talofaallens.blogspot.com/2014/02/thankful.html
Saturday, February 15, 2014. Today, I'm thankful for laughter. I've struggled finding joy for years. It seems that pains from childhood like something one person said or an another person took or an observation made can change the way we perceive the world at a very young age. Until it comes to the surface. Blessings to you and yours. I just read this today in a devotion I get online.May Gods peace ever dwell in our hearts and cause us to overflow with joy. Love you:) Donna. February 21, 2014 at 6:07 PM.

I laid in bed all day! As you can see! Suddenly things started changing. first of all. I'm s...Sick ...

The Journey: April 2012

Sunday, April 29, 2012. What's in a name? A lot In my mind, names can be a blessing or a curse. It's something that you speak over someone every day of their lives and in a sense declare it over them. I am not writing this to criticize anyone for their name or name choices. This is just a strong conviction that I have for my family. My name is Shaloma. It comes from the Hebrew word shalom (שלום) which means: "Peace, wholeness, safety, prosperity, wellness, to restore.". Our second son is Isaiah (ישייה ).
