The oldest golf pub in the world, at the site of where golf was originally played (Brunstfield Links), this place is a total gem. Isn't it cute? Meghan and I couldn't help but wonder why there isn't a place like this in Victoria. Did you know that (according to Lonely Planet) about 9% of people in the UK identify as vegetarian/vegan? Roughly half that of Canada.

Our first stop was Mathers No. 1 near the intersection that Linus calls "Edinburgh's Times Square.". This proclivity to bar-block is a strange custom given there is no table service at the pubs and all orders must be placed with the bartender.
