Wednesday, September 22, 2010. We did a Safari themed 2nd birthday for Colin. We had a bounce house and lots of little friends to help us celebrate. It was a great day! Mommy went a little overboard with the decorations but that's what Mommy likes to do. It is hard to capture the look down the hall but it was supposed to give the feel of walking through a jungle. We had such a fun afternoon on Sunday. We took the kids down to Oklahoma City where they have Snow tubing! At first Jackson was not to thrilled about the idea, but after he went down the hill he was hooked! She is really getting too grown up! And went to see a movie, Four Christmases. Well I was hoping to have pictures of Jack's birthday, but as luck (and Oklahoma weather) would have it last weekend the weathermen predicted a large snow storm, so I had to postpone the party till mid April. On a very exciting note for Mommy, my washing machine imploded last Sunday and I was "forced" to get a new one! I am really sad about that! 3 Guys and A Girl.

Saturday, June 12, 2010. We did a mini session with Laura at Watermelon Photography. Honestly, I don't know why I thought a 20 minute session was a good idea. With Colin, we needed a four hour session so she could follow him around and snap shots so he didn't get "upset" when we tried to "place him" (i.e. make him do something he didn't want to do.). Let me start off by saying this has been a wonderful week! The kids had a terrific Christmas and made out like bandits, despite me trying to cut back this year! Jackson has been playing with his train, airplane and drum set for the past few days non stop! Gabby is loving her new HSM. Dollhouse, guitar and WE CHEER. Etc We are all very excited, especially the kids!
