Thursday, March 7, 2013. The last round of appointments were in Guangzhou China, about a 3 hour flight from Lanzhou. Guangzhou is in Southern China, and the climate is similar to Florida, so we were really glad to get there, and ditch all of our eskimo gear! I normally double the recipe). 6 cups uncooked oats. 1/2 cup shredded coconut. 1/2 cup whole wheat flout. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt. 1/2 cup coconut oil. 2/3 cup maple syrup. 1 Preheat oven to 300 degrees. 2 In a large bowl combine oats, coconut, flour, spices, and salt. Mix well. 3 In a saucepan heat the oil, maple syrup, and vanilla until warn. Pour this over the oat mixture and stir well. 5 As it cools it becomes harder, more granola like.
