Wednesday, July 30, 2014. The kids wanted to have a circle day.at first I couldn't imagine what circle day would mean. They told me we need all circle things to eat, circle crafts and play with balloons! So I thought sounds great to me. So we had a wonderful circle day today! We had biscuits, grapes and cherries for breakfast. After lunch we realized it was a beautiful day so we enjoyed some time playing outside. Then we came in the make our special circle dessert-huge circle sugar cookies!

Country Charm: Our NEW Discipline System
http://ourlifegodhands.blogspot.com/2014/02/our-current-discipline-system.html
Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Our NEW Discipline System. You may have found my LAST. Discipline system on Pinterest because it's been pinned over 1,200 times. I was really in shock that it has so many pins! My hope is that it's training children in the way they should go, and helping moms keep their sanity :). It's time to update you on our current discipline system, and I think your going to like this one even better than before. A star dry-erase chart. I give my boys stars for doing good things. However, ...

Country Charm: May 2015
http://ourlifegodhands.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 24, 2015. Springtime around our Home. Some views from around our home. I love this front porch. It is so peaceful. Green grass, bushes that have gained color, and new sprouts are all a sign that Spring is really here. My boys picked this hanging basket for Mother's Day for me. It is beautiful. A freshly tilled garden. It looks much different now. I will have to take some new pictures and show you how much it has grown. A sign that summer is coming! Flowers, and flags. Saturday, May 16, 2015.

Country Charm: Confidence Booster in Sports
http://ourlifegodhands.blogspot.com/2015/07/confidence-booster-in-sports.html
Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Confidence Booster in Sports. I would say we all struggle from time to time to keep our confidence up. Our oldest son, has always needed more reassurance compared to his younger brother. He needs that "you've got it" words of wisdom on a daily basis to feel confident in his decisions and actions. We thought baseball may help build his confidence and self - esteem so we tried it out this year. After it was finished he said "That wasn't so bad! 3 It's ok to loose. Part of his l...

Scripsick's Scribblings: Early Tuesday Morning
http://scripsicksscribblings.blogspot.com/2015/02/today-was-early-morning-for-more-than.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Monday at the gym I tried a new workout. I have heard that incline on a treadmill is more effective than lunges. So this is what I found on Pinterest and I figured why not give it a try. It was a good workout but next time I think I will increase the slow speed just a little. I also might need to invest in a rope to hold me on the treadmill at the incline of 15 :). Any suggestions of good workouts? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Simply the Smith's: Football and Relaxing
http://simplythesmithss.blogspot.com/2012/09/football-and-relaxing.html
Sunday, September 2, 2012. I am so excited that it is a holiday weekend. That means no school tomorrow! I have enjoyed having kids back in the classroom but a day off is always nice too. This weekend we drove to Lubbock to watch Tech’s first game. We were excited but also nervous since Brynlee has become quite the busy body. Luckily my parents have tickets as well so we were able to shift Brynlee around so she didn’t get bored. We were wrong about the crashing part. By the end of the game we were hot!

The Baseball Mommy: Happy Halloween
http://thebaseballmommy.blogspot.com/2013/11/happy-halloween.html
Saturday, November 2, 2013. What a fun and busy week we had! Our babysitter had to be gone Wednesday-Thursday to go be with her dad so we had to find a babysitter for Brody. Aunt Trisha graciously watched him on Wednesday. I'm pretty sure she is a superhero because she lugged two babies to a school party and to the mall. (She is amazing! Later that night we went trick or treating, but Bryon was done after four houses and ready to relax in his underwear with Jim-dad. November 5, 2013 at 12:50 PM. 3 Cowboy...

Scripsick's Scribblings: January 2015
http://scripsicksscribblings.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. So me and my gym partner are getting creative with the Tabata workouts. However, today I ache from them! Today's routine was Skullcrushers, twisting planks, 6" and holds, chair dips, alternating plank and pushups, side to side jumps. Yesterday we had burpees and mountain climbers. I did remove the burpees from today's workout because I don't like them (mainly two days in a row of them would have killed me). A few of the repetitions of planks looked a little like this too!
