I have prepared these lighting tests for my master's diploma project Rolo comparing V-Ray to Arnold renderer as regards their outcome and performance. The final decision was V-Ray but I am stil discovering the advantages of Arnold for complex animations. It produces no flickering. I have experiences with V-Ray, Arnold and Mental Ray renderer as well.
Beda Game

This game is a summer team project. We were three artists working on it. My part was scripting the whole game and preparing many visual assets like mushrooms, few bushes, waterfall, secret cave and other visual features. The task is to collect all the mushrooms as fast as possible. We used Game Engine Unity combined with Java Script. The primary 3D aplication used is XSI Softimage.

3D-gel electrophoresis is a new approach to DNA and protein analysis according to. One, two, or three independent separation parameters [Electrophoresis 2003, 24:4153-60]. Samples are arrayed on the top surface of a 3D geometry gel body. Separation occurs parallel to the vertical axis under identical electrophoretic and thermal conditions. Protein bands are resolved online by photodetection of laser-induced fluorescence (LIF). A series of images is stored on a computer during the electrophoresis run.
