Velo in the City: Mud and guts...

Velo in the City. The misadventures of a Masters racer trying to make the grade. Tuesday, November 09, 2010. Well it seems that the real CX weather has come. I have been busy with lots of things and while I bought a nice new SS CX bike to jump back in the mix this year, things haven't worked out thus far for me. Getting sick 2 days right before my wedding was inconvenient to say the least but also squashed any hopes of being in shape for races in the later half of Oct and here now in Nov. Dash 4 the Cash.

Velo in the City: Gotta start somewhere..
http://sfcyclist.blogspot.com/2011/10/gotta-start-somewhere.html
Velo in the City. The misadventures of a Masters racer trying to make the grade. Monday, October 10, 2011. Well got it together Sunday for my first CX race and drove down to Manzanita Park. I have always raced well there. It has however dished out the most pain as well. 2 years ago I piled it and blew my knee wide open requiring 27 stitches to close it up again. It was tough lesson and the worst I had ever been hurt doing any cycling or motor cycle racing for that matter. My best friend for a few days.
