Well we picked up the windscreen today, and I was going to have to wait until next Friday for the guy to come and fit it, but I got bored and decided to have a go myself. Well i had to give up. i bought a new condenser, points and rotor arm. but still no joy. I called the RAC. So basically it was a combination of contaminated points and heavily flooded engine.
