The standard KRC2 controller comes with a Master DeviceNet Port as standard, but has no actual IO within the controller. For controlling external equipment from the robot it is neccesary to fit some form of IO modules. For this we use Wago (Beckhoff) modules on the DeviceNet network as can be seen in the picture above. The final animation is less than two minutes long so this is exactly what we wanted to achieve.
