The Morris Forrest: January 2012
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 21, 2012. Corwin was asked to be the "junior attendant," "crown bearer," . whatever you want to call it, for the high school's basketball homecoming program. He was very willing to do it, until he found out he'd have to dress up. He told me he'd do it, but he'd wear. We borrowed a little suit from a friend of ours, shoes from an acquaintance, bought a tie, and wore a hand-me-down dress shirt, and the results were stellar! And so did we.). Ella finally got to meet Mimmy and Pappy last we...

The Morris Forrest: O's Obsession
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2013/08/os-obsession.html
Friday, August 2, 2013. Owen has been OBSESSED with baseball lately (much to his father's delight). Jason was wondering about this middle child because Corwin was busy playing ball by the time he was 18 months old. (He didn't really have a choice but to be interested.) Owen never showed an ounce of interest while his big brother played ball. until this spring. (Do you hear Jason cheering in the background? Well, we've heard about that for a month now. "Is it next summer yet? Are we done yet? I'm 'Coach's...

The Morris Forrest: June 2012
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Cleats, or No Cleats? Well, the Davis Motors T-Ball team's season came to an exciting halt last night. We didn't know if Corwin was going to get to partcipate, or not. I told Corwin to put on his Crocs and get in the car because I thought his cleats were in the van. And, they. He was so relieved to have real shoes to play ball in. Needlesstosay, he was not happy and his father was furious! Oh, well. It all worked out! They didn't have one single home run scored! Owen loves Bubby...

The Morris Forrest: August 2012
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. Well, we're back at it! Early mornings, quieter days, busy evenings, packing lunches. SCHOOL! Corwin was very excited to start first grade, to be reunited with all his friends, and to get back to work. He came home not as enthusiastic, but was still hopeful. I think he quickly realized that first grade is going to require more work from him. And handwriting! Lots and lots of writing. The boy. I pray Corwin and Jason have a great year. God bless them both! I realize this is quit...

The Morris Forrest: June 2013
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 28, 2013. I was hungry for a little summer fun, and what is more summery and more fun than the water park? We found out they were running a discount, so me and the boys headed for some fun in the sun. Ella came for a little bit, but Daddy picked her up after his golf game. She enjoyed it for the hour, or so, that she was there. However, I have no photographic evidence of it. Corwin got there and found a couple school friends, so I have no idea what all he did. He loves the big slides! Of fir...

The Morris Forrest: March 2012
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 12, 2012. Well, lately I have been terrible at updating this blog. I apologize. (I think I apologized last time too, didn't I? Anyway, here is a post that bridges a couple months' time. Many of you participated in Corwin's 100th Day of School Autograph Book. I cannot tell you how much we appreciated your participation! He was so proud of his book! Here is a glimpse of it:. Like the looks of those green eggs! Can I give her a kiss? Owen has sure enjoyed this warm winter. Last year we'd s...

The Morris Forrest: April 2013
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 1, 2013. So much went on this Easter weekend, that I don't know that I could explain it all. The kids played with animals, played with cousins, dyed eggs, hunted eggs, received Easter baskets, celebrated at church, then enjoyed a quiet evening at home. The pictures say it all! Fun was had by all! The Most Important Decision. Corwin asked- out of the blue- "What does it feel like when you get saved? He was so excited, and even more excited to get baptised. I thought winter was over after a c...

The Morris Forrest: December 2011
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 17, 2011. Well, we are doing our best to adjust to the demands and "schedule" of a newborn baby in the house. I remember how much easier it was with just one! It didn't matter if you slept in until 8 or 9 in the morning, or how late you went to bed. But, with a kindergartner and a 3-year-old, it's not so easy! Life has many more demands other than baby's demands. Ella is healthy and doing well. On the 13th of December she had her first well-baby visit. A whoppin' 2 weeks old! Then, he ...

The Morris Forrest: Forgotten Treasures
http://themorrisforrest.blogspot.com/2013/08/forgotten-treasures.html
Friday, August 2, 2013. The other set of pictures I discovered was of the Corning 4th of July parade. Corwin rode in the church float, and the rest of us watched. I don't think I've ever seen a parade with as many pageant contestants, tractors, 4-wheelers, and cars as this one. It was a L-O-N-G parade! But, the weather was nice, and the kids racked up some candy for their collection. It was a good day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Lifeas it's happened to me.
