Life As I Know It: Holy Shit.
http://www.stacieslife.com/2013/04/holy-shit.html
Life As I Know It. Welcome to my crazy life! Wednesday, April 24, 2013. My mind has been blown. I am in a total state of disbelief. 9 years of no birth control. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars spent. And I get this today. This was taken after about 30 seconds. At the three minute mark, the lines were pretty. Much the same intensity and thickness. Maybe somewhere around 18-20 dpo? Shocked doesn't even begin to describe how I am feeling right now. I am concerned that this may not end well.

Thursday, April 10, 2014. Boys' New Bedroom - A Win-Win. I've been wanting to move the boys' out of their bedroom into two separate bedrooms for years. We have four bedrooms upstairs. We're in the master, the boys were in the next biggest room and that left the two little rooms as spare rooms. Even though they're twins, I've always wanted to them to have separate identities, their own things, and their own space. It turned out fantastic and tonight they finally get to sleep in their new room(s)! I can't ...

Monday, September 17, 2012. Ben's bike - an update. Back in May, I told you all about Ben's new bike. You can check that post out here. Ben's bike is a Mini Tike from Trailmate. Below is the picture from the website. Unfortunately, it doesn't come in red anymore.just yellow. I wasn't happy with the tippyness factor so we asked my cousin's husband (a welder) to help us out. He widened the back wheel base by about 6 inches as you can see in the picture below. Links to this post. Thursday, September 13, 2012.

About the Small Stuff: Me
http://aboutthesmallstuff.blogspot.com/2009/04/me.html
Sunday, April 12, 2009. Well I guess I should start with me. Normally I'd start with my boys, but I want this blog to be about me too. Is that selfish? I'm 34 (how did that happen? I live in a small city in Canada about 20 minutes away from the very small town where I grew up (and where my parents still live). I am (mostly) happily married to my husband of 2 1/2 years. I have fraternal twin boys, aged 19 months. Here are some random things about me:. 2 I admit it…I now drink instant coffee. 16 In my prio...

My journey is one of grief (my stillborn son), joy (my rainbow baby)& struggle (infertility). Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Physically, I am feeling much less nauseous but still not feeling great. Not complaining as I am just thrilled and grateful to be pregnant- however, it is a little annoying. I am definitely getting bigger faster this time around. I've been lazy lately and need to step up the exercise and start eating a little better. January 30, 2013 at 7:39 PM. I am so glad everything is going well!

Monday, April 4, 2011. The Road to Acceptance. Ellen from Stumbo Family Story. Asked me to do a guest post for her. Something about how I came to terms with Ben's CP diagnosis and acceptance. Ellen and her husband adopted Nina last year from the Ukraine and Nina has CP. So after a few days of thinking and writing, I finally came up with a post called The Road to Acceptance. Go check it out when you get a chance and come back and let me know what you think. April 4, 2011 at 8:25 PM. Great Blog Post Cary!

Friday, June 22, 2012. 5 Months Post-Op (cross-post). On Monday, we will be five months post-op. WOW. Amazing. I keep thinking back to a year ago when we were just starting to explore the idea of Ben having a rhizotomy and here we are now, already 5 months post-op. The surgery now is just a memory. 2 Standing - Before surgery, Ben could maybe stand independently for 2 to 3 seconds and this was not at all consistent. Lately, he's been able to stand on his own for up to 30 seconds pretty much any time.
