Monday, October 30, 2006. Hey we have been fishing. The almighty Mangrove Jack Excellent for dinner! Glen with a Cod great eating. Our fishing buddy Johnno. Thanks to our mate John we have been on the water. Quite often now and we are loving it. Been catching all sorts of things including Mangrove Jack. Saturday, December 09, 2006. Our Newest Arrivals - The Calves. We have been busy playing parents to our two poddy calves. Named Valda and Denise after Ray's Grandmother and Mother. Dad finds this amusing and we are told keeps mooing at Mum. Morning and afternoon are now filled with bottle feeding these two. Both are Braford ( Brahman Hereford cross) Jerseys. Saturday, December 09, 2006. Native Wildlife @ Brokeback Ridge. Daily we are blessed with such lovely native wildlife. From the bird life to the Kangaroos which enjoy grazing on the front paddocks. They can often be seen having a cool drink from the dam which surrounds the front of our home.
