Today (the 22nd), we woke Brenna up for her last day of school (due to my maternity leave, she will be home with me this summer), but she was going out in style! The story of our new family of four. Saturday, May 31, 2008. Brennas First Birthday Party. We had Brenna's first birthday party on May 24th, the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. It was the most beautiful day imaginable - mid-70's, not a cloud in the sky. Jamie and I were so worried that our 62 guests would never fit in our house, and we lucked out that they could party outside, too! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The story of our new family of four. Monday, August 18, 2008. Brennas first week of school (daycare)! Tomorrow completes Brenna's first full week of school. It's going pretty well so far. The little girls there got excited when she returned on her second day! They act like she's their baby and they give her hugs and say things like, "I love your shirt, Brenna," when she arrives.
