Monday, January 23, 2017. Some random food pics . A typical grocery run for this vegan family at the local fruit and veg shop when I cant get to a market or I'm low on cash like this week .blush . Some spreads and preserve I made one morning, figs were a gift from my neighbor friend .bless her! The most beautiful carrots out my garden! The most nutritious chocolate on the planet in my opinion . Kids not crazy about it, but I loooooooooove it! Frighteningly expensive but worth every cent! 1/4 cup olive oil.

Friday, December 30, 2016. Our first vegan Christmas . This has been the best Christmas ever and we enjoyed beautiful food as a Christmas feast. Breakfast was not super healthy but hey .it's Christmas! Kellogg's Rice Krispies are a favorite for the kids but we save it for special occasions and celebrations like birthdays, holidays and Christmas. Monday, December 19, 2016. What this vegan family ate today #4. Marble maize porridge for breakfast. This was the first time I made it and it was a hit! Kids loved it,. Make a pot of maize meal porridge, ensure it's GMO free! Dish up in a bowl. Put a few blobs of peanut butter and date paste on top, allow few minutes for it to sort of melt. Then gentle give it a few stirs, just enough to get a marble effect. Top with banana, dates and coconut sugar . devour ;). Morning snack was freshly made carrot juice.

Your positive pregnancy test and the scissors we cut your cord. The clothes you wore the day you were born and outfits you wore a lot. Your 1st pair of shoes and slippers. Stuff from your 1st birthday. And whatever is really special. I have to say I get so emotional going through the box, there so many special memories. Camping in our Backyard. Me and the girlies!

Sunday, August 31, 2014. I must say I am so happy to not have heavy morning sickness. Except for feeling queasy now and then I'm feeling great. The tiredness still a issue at times . one I cant do anything about so I just push through it. I am so happy to be a 8 weeks. So happy to know my little baby is growing inside me. I feel so healthy and relaxed. This pregnancy surly is off to a great start! How many weeks pregnant? How many day till due date? How big is baby? 7 mm, that a tiny little human :).

I go specifically to buy bread that I freeze, organic brown rice, peanut butter and some veggies. They are pricey on my budget so I only get the bare essentials.
