Life is full of smiles. Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Letting Go and Letting God. I wonder if there will ever be a time when I truly let go? I am like most women. I am like most mothers. I let my own health be the last thing that takes priority. Part of it is time. Part of it is laziness. And part of it I blame on my mom. Not in a bad way. (I will explain this later). Would he pray with them? Would he talk about God the way I do? Who would keep my family focuses on God when I was not there? Worship me only....

We were lucky to attend Maggie and Jude's first communion at St. Mary's in Anderson on Easter Sunday. .the kids did really well during the service. but the meltdown in the car afterward when Katie didn't want to get into her seat was a "not so shining" moment in our day. (See picture of Katie screaming on the floor of the car! Which is her word she uses for candy. Kids. :). Decorating easter eggs this year involved a lot more colored hands than colored eggs!

Friday, November 5, 2010. Disney Baltic and North Sea Cruise! To top off our time in Europe we (along with Dan's parents) headed off for a 12 night Disney cruise. In the Baltic and North Sea in early July. Luckily we had perfect weather, smooth seas, and plenty of stuff to do. In the summer sunrise is at 4 am and the sun stays up until as late as 11pm! Jenna and Jillian turned 9 on Dec 2, 2013 and they chose to have two separate parties this year. Jenna had a gymnastics party and Jillian had a slumber party. I decided to crash the slumber party so I showed up in my footed pjs and pretended I was coming to stay the night. They didn't seem too bothered by it darn it! Jamie hired a face painter then they went Christmas caroling.
