Its totally different, but still. The ewrap rows after the k1p1 rib rows make the brim stand out so that’s neat. I also tried this hat reversing the rib in grey not quite worsted weight I don’t think but not sure. I’ll show the grey right side out and inside out to show the diference. Fun experimenting. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Sea Urchin in green. June 20, 2011 by 3isles. Do you remember the Giant Pink Sea Snail from Dr. Doolittle (the OLD one)? Well Pink Sea Urchin makes me think of that. Its a baby’s hat. I knit it using the Martha Stewart Knitting and Weaving Loom. Small pegs, circle/56 pegs. Using a fine pink cotton/acrylic blend by Egeo which I must have bought in the mid 80’s. Crochet cast on 56 stitches. Row 1 k1 p1 around. Row 2-6 repeat row 1. Row 7 through 12 or so e-wrap/knit.
