Been a lovely quiet peaceful day. Latin provided fun as he was working out roots of words. Maths was easier than he expected producing glee. English showed what huge inroads he has made into writing as he wrote a very competent advert. And all done by 10.15. We have eaten some and today I used the remaining berries to make strawberry jam. Makes approx 6 x 454g jars of jam:. Approx 8 tsp lemon juice. Wash the strawberries if necessary and drain well. Reading, Learning and Growing. Category Archives: Messy play. Rabbit and I have been planning to do some leaf printing all through the Autumn, but somehow we have never got round to it. So yesterday morning, when we had some time together while all the boys were out, we decided it wasn’t too late for one more Autumn craft session, before moving on to Christmas crafts. She loved experimenting with the colours, mixing red and yellow to make orange, and adding glitter glue to brown paint to make it sparkly.
