I’m already home from taking the boys to school and hitting the shops for a loaf of Rye and Spelt sourdough bread, which is the base of our dinner. Someone is diagnosed every 6 hours and 8 out of 10 won’t survive. It effects more young people and children than any other cancer. May 15, 2015. The One that’s a belated Mother’s Day blog post instead of a card. I think it’s hard enough to parent 3 children and I don’t even know what the 3rd one is like yet. How do you treat each child differently to suit their needs and keep things fair. How do you parent 3 let alone 6 children 100%? And as I look at Oliver in my arms, I thank her for loving me with her whole heart. And I’m lucky to have her as my mother. The one with a photo a day (part 3). The one with all the calm.

May 20, 2015. The one with no long service leave. This week marks the 12 year anniversary of me becoming a stay at home mum. When we fell pregnant I was working in a jewellery shop. We were 20. We’d been together over 2 years and were living together. We had plans of saving up, getting married and buying a home. Then starting a family. The last 12 years have been filled with stressful times. Where our decision to have me as a SAHM have been questioned. Have we made the right decision?
