Sunday, February 27, 2011. My DIY Solar Street Lamp. Today is the first day of my “Blogiversary Week”! Yes, I’m going to streeettcch it out all week! Kind of like when your birthday falls on a Wednesday, but you won’t actually be celebrating til Saturday and then friends take you to lunch on another day…so you celebrate all week! I LOVE birthdays like that! Have you ever had a project in your mind, but have to wait to put it together? Last summer I made this small solar light for a table in my garden.

Gems and Rhinestones: Feelin' Groovy
http://gemsandrhinestones.blogspot.com/2011/11/feelin-groovy.html
Thursday, November 3, 2011. One thing I have learned in my blogging journey is the wonderful friends I have 'met' and the great support I have received. Fellow bloggers pick me up when I am down, come to may aid, and even fly across the country to walk with my family on the Light the Night Walk for the Cure in honor of my son who has just beaten cancer. Ashley over at The Mommyhood Adventure. Has blessed me with a wonderful award for which I am very grateful. I'm supposed to start by telling you. Thank y...

I get a ton of great ideas from there and could easily waste an hour looking at everything. I wanted to try something new, and each week I will share some of my favorite things I found thanks to Pinterest. Below are all my favorite things from this week and the link to where they came from. Keen Inspirations: Outdoor Basket Light, Dollar Store Style!
http://keeninspirations.blogspot.com/2011/03/outdoor-basket-light-dollar-store-style.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. Outdoor Basket Light, Dollar Store Style! I had a lot of fun making my Solar Street Lamp. And I’m glad to have the light when I pull up in the evenings! Part of the reason I was inspired to “go solar” with my light is that I am married to an electrician and am experiencing the whole “shoemaker’s children go barefoot” thing! When I saw Cheri’s post on basket and cage lighting. Let’s make it a. Then I took t...

Friday, May 27, 2011. Confession of a Decorator. As a decorator and crafter at heart, I face a common dilemma. Do I finish one room or space before moving onto the next project, or simply conquer something that inspires me at the moment? Which brings me back full circle with a change of heart, attitude and perspective on the whole dilemma; how to decorate on a tight budget: one room at a time or one statement piece at a time? Wishing you all a blessed day! Links to this post. Labels: Walking the Walk.
